This Sliced Iberian Ham de Recebo is from Iberian pigs raised in freedom on the “Dehesa de Extremadura” (the oak forests of Extremadura) and are fed on the best pastures with grass, roots, herbs and acorns (bellotas) during the time of the year when acorns are mature and ready to eat (the Montanera period between the months of November and March), and an additional supplement based on high quality natural fodder.

The Jamón Ibérico de Recebo is cured for about 3 years following the traditional artisanal way.

The result of the taste of this rear leg is exceptional, with an unique aroma and flavor. And with regular flecks of intramuscular fat which enhances the flavor. Delicious Sliced Spanish Iberian Ham de Recebo.

Because the Iberian pigs live on acorns, much of the fat is oleic acid which has been shown to lower LDL cholesterol (the bad) and raise HDL cholesterol (the good).

Our Sliced Iberian Ham comes vacuum-packed in 100gr packs.
When your order arrives the ham will be cut into thin slices and without delay vacuum-packed to preserve its original quality, flavour and aroma.
When you receive our package we recommend after opening it to let it breathe for about 15 minutes so the ham can recover its original oily texture and aroma. The delivery takes between 3-7 business days.

Because all our Iberian Pigs roam free on the dehesa it exercises its muscles naturally, together with the genetic ability to store fat in the muscle tissue it gives our sliced ham that unmistakable flavour and texture.
